Conformance status
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA as our reference standard. These guidelines are also the basis of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549.
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: most content meets the standard, but some parts listed below do not yet fully meet it.
What we have done
- Readable contrastText and buttons meet the minimum colour contrast ratio.
- Keyboard navigationAll menus, sliders, pop-ups and forms can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Screen readersImages have text alternatives; icons, buttons and slider controls have labels in English, French, German and Arabic.
- Clear structureLogical headings, landmarks and the correct language attribute; the Arabic version is displayed right-to-left.
- Reduced motionAutomatic slideshows and animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Zoom and mobileContent can be zoomed up to 200% and is readable on mobile devices in both orientations.
Known limitations
- Online shop and checkoutPurchases are completed on our Shopify store, a third-party platform. We choose accessible settings where possible, but cannot fully control its accessibility.
- Third-party widgetsThe cookie consent banner, WhatsApp chat button and embedded maps or videos come from external services and may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
- VideosSome videos do not yet have captions or a text transcript.
- Older contentSome older articles, images and downloadable PDF documents may not have full text alternatives or an accessible structure.
We are working on these points. If you need any of this content in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide it.

How we test
Accessibility is assessed by Nooria itself: automated testing (axe-core) of the main pages in all languages, combined with manual checks using the keyboard, a screen reader, browser zoom and reduced-motion settings. The last assessment was carried out in October 2026. We review the website regularly and whenever we add new features.
Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the authority responsible for accessibility in your country. In the European Union, this is the national market surveillance authority designated under the European Accessibility Act. In Switzerland, the Federal Bureau for the Equality of Persons with Disabilities (EBGB) provides information on your rights.
